Summer Camp 2024

College Community Theatre is again offering two summer camps this year.

Registration is through Pendleton Parks and Recreation.

Full-day 2024 Theater Camp: Tricksters – July 22-24

In this year’s theater camp, students will embark upon a creative adventure in the world of story theatre featuring tricksters like Anansi, Loki, Coyote, or Raven. Each student will have a part in a short play featuring a different trickster character from around the world, and each play will be directed by a professional teaching artist. In addition to working closely with a director in a small group, students will have a chance to explore specialty classes in different teachers’ areas of expertise. including Masks, Improvisation, Stage Combat, Technical Theatre, and Music. Camp runs 9 am – 3:30 pm July 22-26 @ BMCC Pendleton/ Camp will culminate with a performance on the BMCC stage on the evening of Saturday, July 27th!

Cost: $75 for first camper, $60 for additional campers in the same family. Open to ages 7-15.

Half-day 2024 Community & Theater Exploration Camp: Blast from the Past – June 10-14 – NOW CLOSED

In “Blast from the Past,” campers will trek through Pendleton’s past and how people expressed creativity with different activities each day, including a trip to Heritage Station museum, churning butter, and an acting workshop with cast and crew of CCT’s current show: The Petticoat Rebellion. Camp is from 9 a.m. until noon on June 10-14 at the Pendleton Rec Center. Cost: $30. Open to ages 6-18.
