AUDITIONS: The Sound of Music!
BMCC Music and Theatre Department with College Community Theatre are pleased to announce auditions for their upcoming production of “The Sound of Music.”
Dates for the auditions will be as follows:
Monday, December 2 and Tuesday, December 3, 2019, 6:00 – 8:00 PM (choose one night to audition) in the Department of Music at BMCC, Room 151.

Auditioners should plan on one of the following selections from The Sound of Music:
Lead Roles – Women: “Something Good”
Lead Roles/ensemble – Men: “Edelweiss”
Children – “Do, Re, Mi”
Adult Chorus females – “My Favorite Things”
Mother Abbess: “Climb Every Mountain”
A total of 10 Performances are set for February 20 through March 1, 2020.
Rehearsal will begin in December. Most rehearsals will be in the evening, 6:00 to 8:30 PM. some rehearsals will be scheduled for Saturday Mornings.

We realize that an actor can play a character that is older or younger than the actual age of the actor. If you can “pull-off” the age listed for the role, please feel free to audition for the role.
